Tomorrow, I leave for home bright and early and I should be back in operation by the following Sunday, Monday at the latest. Thanks to all my readers and viewers for making this such a successful DID blog. I wish you all a happy holiday and a safe journey to your loved ones.
Charlotte Ayanna portrays perfect girl Elizabeth Purr, in this original black comedy about high school "mean girls". On her seventeenth birthday, the poor girl is tied up, gagged (her mouth stuffed with a HUGE jawbreaker and then duct-taped closed) and kidnapped straight out her bedroom by masked and hooded intruders- who turn out to be her clique of high school friends. Elizabeth meets a tragic end however in the trunk of the car, which sets off a chain reaction of cover-up, reprisal, and betrayal among the circle of friends.
*I love this movie. Rose McGowan is doing what she does best, playing a cold-hearted bitch. The comedy is genuinely funny and we even get a look at a young Julie Benz (who would move on to play Darla in Angel and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.) I'm not happy with scenes where the girl dies, but without it, there would be no plot for the movie. It's a pretty short clip.
